Who needs the Oscars? Softies Central blog is hosting the first annual Softie Awards to honour the best in the biz ... the softies biz, that is.
Enter your softies to the Softies Award flickr group by March 9th, 2007 to be eligible to win. The judges will pick the top 5 softies in each category and then voting will open for everyone.
There are 12 categories in which to enter your softies:
Best Bunny or Bear
Best Rest of the Animal Kingdom
Best Softie Cuisine
Best Creepy Yet Still Cute
Best Inanimate Object
Best Holiday Inspired
Best Pincushion
Best Cozy
Best Needle Felted
Best Amigurumi
Best Functional Softie
Best 'My-Softie-Doesn't-Fit-Into-Any-Of-Your-Damn-Categories' Softie
You can enter as many softies as you like, but the same softie cannot be entered in multiple categories.
Sounds like fun! Now I just have to decide which little guys I want to enter ...
